Rachel's thoughts on 127 Hours
Last night I saw 127 Hours starring James Franco.  The cinematography was really great, and the story was awe inspiring.  The movie definitely connects in many ways to The Stranger.  In the beginning, there are several shots of people, just masses of people— on the beach, at a sports game.  Then it cuts to Aaron Ralston, driving out into the wilderness alone.  He relishes and enjoys his...

The Stranger

However, it also shows that we don’t want to spend time to think about these friends and send them something personal and special....

Danny's post on Frankenstein/transgender
I think this is an interesting idea to think about. When i first read it, I started to actually absorb and think about it. I like the theory and I think that Victor creating raises some questions about him secretly wanting to be a female, or wanting the power to procreate.
